HELLO TO ALL OMG OMG TODAY WAS SUPER FUN @ NANYANG.
We had SPORTS CCA ORIENTATION! [tomorrow's performing arts]
We went to many many trials. Shooting, Judo, Tennis, T&F, Squash, Artistic Gym, Wushu, Netball, Softball, ARGH A LOT LA!
I got accepted into Track & Field, Wushu and Netball.
YES I DIDN'T GET ACCEPTED INTO SQUASH AND TENNIS BECAUSE FIRSTLY I CAN'T RUN FAST AND SECONDLY THAT STUPID COACH (tennis) DIDN'T WANT ME EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T MISS ANY SHOTS. ARGH. STOP LAUGHING YOU DIMWITS >;(]
Track&Field
We did sprints. But before we did, the teacher-in-charge told us,'WE ARE VERY VERY VERY SELECTIVE. CHANCES ARE VERY LOW. WE MAY NOT SELECT YOU BUT I WANT YOU GIRLS TO TRY YOUR BEST. NO MATTER WHAT, TRY YOUR BEST!' That wasn't the least encouraging because of the second sentence she said.
Anyway for some reason after we ran 50m, the coach singled me out and asked me to go there ->. Then for some apparent reason, the whole class cheered for me and clapped.
Then he asked Jinny to go there -> too. Haha. Anyway. He asked Jinny to run again. Hm. I can't remember what happened to her but anyway. After which, he brought me to the hurdles lane and asked me to jump hurdles.
I looked at him in doubt and said,'But I've never done that before!' He told me not to worry and that'll he'll show me a demo. Bloody hell! He then said,'you're a talent!' He said that again another two times. WHAT'S HIS PROBLEM MAN?!
I have no experience in running, no experience in jumping, nor was I ever selected to join the T&F CCA when I was in primary school (or any other competitions), and he wants me to do some fucking hurdles?!
Well I did la. 3. He told me to go over to the sandpit over there <-
So anyway after which he told me to do the what-you-call-that.... er... Long jumps? Sorry but I'm a gay noob at this :D
He asked me whether I've done long jumps before and I lied no. HAHA. He showed me a demo with one of the NYGH Trackers and I landed somewhere even further than hers. Woah. Like seriously:D He told Jinny to do the same thing.
After that the teacher-in-charge pulled me to a corner (damn! she was rough!). She started asking me weird questions like,'were you ever in track and field?'
Me: no
She: then were you in any other sports cca?
Me: no I was in choir for 6 years.
She: So choir never exercise one right?
Me: I don't know but when we sing we have to stand up.
GOD I WAS TOTALLY SENSELESS! I totally regretted saying that like seriously I made a fool out of myself. GAH!
Anyway after that she gave me her handphone number and asked me to call her (no la she wasn't asking me on a date) if I wanted to join the CCA. She also said,'You still very raw, when you join the cca must have training.'
Firstly, the usage of the word 'raw'. WHAT THE HELL?! Oh that means those who are really experienced are 'cooked'? good good i get it.
second. WHICH SPORTS CCA DO NOT REQUIRE TRAINING!?

Netball
I was in the pink group. Personally I don't have any interest in Netball. Like seriously.
So anyway when we had to do the trial, we had to put on this apron-like thingy. Mine was pink in colour. And since I know I didn't have the intention to join the CCA, I wanted out. So I took off my 'apron' in front of liyan, anette and tracy (saw).
They said,'NOOOOOo!!' But obviously I ignored them. Then they sang that stupid tuo diao song and i got embarrassed and put the apron back on. HELL!
Later I went to one of the netball senior and took off my apron and gave it to her. stupid liyan anette and tracy happened to saw it and shouted my name in unison. That stupid senior RETURNED the apron to me but shoving it back! GOODNESS!@#$
So anyway my group won (heh because of, ME!) and after which the some of the netballers say,'YOU COME HERE. What's your name?' (they were holding the name list)
me: pearl
them: paul?
me: i'm the last person on your list.
them: *looks down at the list* oh chey pe-rrrr-lll ah!

Wushu
Oh this one is like the funniest man!@#$%^&*(
We did punches, spilts, stretching, 'flying legs' (i call it flying legs because.... haha! it's like the arm sticking out and then you kick your legs up up into the air and hit your hand) and many other my-leg-assing-pain exercises.
Hell my legs was really very pain! My thighs are now like... kiam cai already :( Me and liyan had to play siscors (sp) paper stone to distract our pain away.
surprisingly it worked eh ;D
Anyway I did the flying legs real good (according to them) and they asked me to jump over those bamboo sticks that were place on the high high part of the chair.
Me and karlai went,'OMG!' when we saw it because the sticks were like VERY VERY VERY VERY HIGH. Karlai said,'WE MIGHT AS WELL DO JAMBO LA!' HAHA funny!
Anyway they all looked like hurdles to me. Haha!
Anyway i jumped over it. People cheered for me! My classmates are real nice ^^ Nicer than stupid 6GAY BOYS >;(] who don't cheer for us girls.
Back to my point. After everyone tried the hurdle thing (and failed as well), I asked the Wushu girl to let me try again (it was super fun!). Liyan, Anette and Tracy (oh not again!) and Jinny and some other girls (kekex i don't know their names) cheered for me by shouting out my name real loud and well i jumped over it again. Then some Wushu senior came to me, nodded her head again and again (I suspect she was on ecstacy) and said,'not bad....'
I could have said in reply,'yeh... and I'm not going to join this boring cca yeah/..'
Tho that would be really mean :(
Anyway. Hm.
That's all.
I'm going to blog about tomorrow's audi for choir. HEHE:D! I bet Liyan and Jinny is going to watch me sing 'lalalalalala' according to scales! They all said that I should join a sports cca because I'm really sporty (really? oh I beg to differ!) and because it'll be such a waste to join choir.
I think they should have their brains re checked (well no offence:D) because IT'LL be a waste if I don't join choir.

Jumping over bamboo sticks is fun, but the CCA is boring. Jumping over bamboo sticks is fine, but jumping over hurdles is not.

uh,im your senior. and i really think that you should be more respectful when you post stuff like this. im just saying,not flaming or anything. yeah, so basically it would sound better if you'd stop scolding 'stupid','fucking','what the hell' etc. i use those too, but the way you use it makes you sound very egoistic. im from track and field too, and what the coach was trying to say was that you really need training even if you have talent as you have never been in a sports cca. raw is a description word. and the long jumper who jumped was just demo-ing for you. anyhow jump?got it? so yeah.if she did a real jump it would be way more than what she jumped or what you jumped. because long jumpers tend to jump at least four metres.and sprints as long as you are leading they will consider you. the coach is VERY experienced and it is insulting to call her names. she can tell who has talent. and you should be honoured to be chosen. it is really not easy to get in. in 2007, there were only 6 sprinters, 6 long distancers, ONE high jumper, and a few throwers only. please respect nanyang. that is all im saying. thanks.

You should be humble if the caoch appreciates you as a talent and not say 'what's his problem.' And i dont find hurdles fucking so dont call it fucking hurdles. Its very insulting to the trackers.

If you think you're too good for the cca no one's forcing you to join it. Im sure there are better talents out there with a attitude way better than yours.

I think you should be more respectful and change your attitude. If a coach appreciates your talent, you shouldn't be so rude or so proud. Do you really think you are that good? And using 'raw' is a kind of figurative language; if you can't even figure that out then you truly don't prove to be as good you think you are. By the way, the apron is a bib and it isn't that UNBEARABLE to wear. I believe judging by your attitude, no CCA will accept you. Talent counts but character counts too. I suppose you can always choose back your choir because you are undoubtedly unsuitable for sports ccas. please respect your teachers at least. And stop being vulgar.
